Tracking is used by coaches and team staff for team record keeping. Coaches often need to keep track of items such as: team fee payment, tournament fees, player cards/records and other items.
Tracking enables the coach to create a list of items that can be checked off as they are completed/submitted by team members. Only the coaching staff can change the status of any trackable item.
Public items are visible to parents in TeamHub within their Member Zone profile. There they are able to view the required items and their current status. If they have an outstanding item that is overdue, they will have a red box presented on the main login page.
Private items are not visible to parents in TeamHub.
Viewing the Tracking List
Click the Tracking link in the team menu to view or add to your team's current list of trackable items.
The tracking items view for your team will look similar to the one below once you have added trackable items:
Add
To add a new item to the list click the Create new trackable list [+] button. Fill in the fields that apply to your item and click on save. Add a due date if applicable and select “Do not publish” if your item is for coaching staff eyes only.
Update Status
Coaches can update the status for each team member as they fulfill a requirement. The function is a three click button:
- By default, the item is a red [x], meaning the item has not yet been submitted.
- Click to change to a green check, indicating the item has been received or recorded.
- Click again to change to a blue [NR], meaning the item is not required for this player.
Your choice is recorded with each click, and you can change the selection at any time.
Delete
Coaches can delete items they no longer wish to track by using the garbage can icon under the list item name. You will be required to confirm the deletion. Once deleted, no records remain associated with the deleted item.
Modify
Coaches can change their trackable item's details by clicking the Edit List icon under the list item name. You can modify the name, due date or change the publish or private state.
