Reviewing Team Rosters

Modified on Thu, 9 Oct at 6:14 PM

Once on the Team Roster page for a team, you'll be presented with the team information, rostered players, and any team staff members that have been added to the team.

Summary

At the top of the page is a quick at-a-glance summary of the details of the team, along with the total number of players and team staff, and the number awaiting approval.

Activities

The Activities button in the upper right (immediately left of the green "Add Players" button) provides an overview of each action that has been completed for the team. For example - when the team was created, when players were added, if/when team information was changed, etc.. Each action includes the admin who completed the action and the timestamp it occurred.

Viewing Player or Team Staff Profiles

You can review any of the members (players or staff) by clicking on their Name. You'll be brought to their profile page, where you can review their details (or make changes, as needed), including their Player History, and the Activities (history of actions/updates) for the member.

Alerts (Warnings)

You may notice some of the listed members on the Team Roster page have an Alert icon next to their name.

This an indicator that this member has a potential validation issue that might indicate they should not be approved. A common example of this would be players who are underage for that team's age group.

Notes

When submitting a team for district approval, if the team has any members with an Alert, the club is prompted to provide an "Exception Note" for each of them. This allows the club to provide context or more information to the District for each of those members who may not otherwise fit the required criteria.

QUICK TIP: Clubs are able to add a Note for any member on the Team Roster, even those without an Alert. The same is true for Districts - you as a District Admin can add a note on any player or team staff member. Be aware that notes entered by the District are visible at both the District and Club level.

You, as the District Administrator, have visibility to any/all notes that the club has added. To view a note that has been entered, simply click on the text of the note visible in the Notes column.

A slideout on the right will appear, allow you to view the full note that was entered, and if you wish, enter a note of your own. To enter a note, use the Type dropdown to select either “District” or “Exception” as the note type, then enter your note in the textbox underneath.
