Adding Users to Teams (Players and Team Staff)

Whether you're adding one or two additional players part of the way through the season, or you forgot to include the team name when you imported your players and/or team staff, you have the ability to add users (players and team staff) onto teams in the Ontario Soccer Govern module.


Adding Players to Teams

  1. Click the Teams menu item in the navigation menu on the left.
  2. Here you'll see a list of all your teams in the season. Click the team name to access that team's roster page.
  3. On the Team Roster page, click the green Add Players button on the right. A slideout will appear on the right for you to select the player(s) you wish to add to the team roster.
  4. Click the green + button on the left for each player you wish to add to the team. The green + will be replaced by a grey "added" when you do so. When ready, click the Add # Players button in the lower right to add the selected players to the team roster.

QUICK TIP: By default the Add Players slideout will have a number of filters added. You can remove or add more filters as needed, or use the search to find the specific player(s) you wish to add.




Adding Team Staff to Teams

  1. Click the Teams menu item in the navigation menu on the left.

  2. Here you'll see a list of all your teams in the season. Click the team name to access that team's roster page.

  3. On the Team Roster page, click the blue Add Staff button. A slideout will appear on the right for you to select the team staff member(s) you wish to add to the team roster.

  4. Click the green + button on the left for each team staff you wish to add to the team. The green + will be replaced by a grey “added” when you do so.


QUICK TIP: By default the Add Staff Memebrs slideout will have a filter added. You can remove or add more filters as needed, or use the search to find the specific staff member(s) you wish to add.


  1. After selecting the team staff member(s) you want to add to the team roster, they’ll be listed at the bottom of the slideout. Select the role for each team staff member. When ready, click the blue Add # Staff Members button in the lower right to add them to the team roster


QUICK TIP: Need to change the role of team staff you've already added to the team roster? Use the dropdown and click the green checkmark to save your change!
