Whether you're in the process of building your rosters or there have been some changes part way through the season, there are tools available to allow you to remove players and team staff from teams.
NOTE: Only unapproved (i.e. pending) users can be removed from a team. If you need to remove a user that the District has already approved, you'll need to reach out to your District and ask them to unapprove the player. (See the "Removing Users Already Approved by the District" section below.
Removing Users Not Yet Approved by the District
- Click the Teams menu item in the Govern Navigation menu on the left.
- Here you'll see a list of all your teams in the season. Click a team name to access that team's roster page.
- On the Team Roster page, click the checkbox to the left of the photo for the user you wish to remove from the team. If desired, you can select multiple users (i.e. multiple players or multiple team staff members) to remove in bulk.

- A red "Remove Selected" button will appear once you've selected at least one user. Click that button to remove those players from the team.

Removing Users Already Approved by the District
Only users with a Pending status (i.e. unapproved) can be removed from a team. This means that in order to remove a user from a team who's already been approved by the District, you'll need to ask your District to "unapprove" that user on the team before you can proceed with the below steps.
- Click the Teams menu item in the navigation menu on the left.
- Here you'll see a list of all your teams in the season. Click a team name to access that team's roster page.
- On the Team Roster page, the players who have been “unapproved” by the District will appear under a “Players rejected” header at the top of the roster.

Click the three dots in the Actions column on the right of the player you wish to remove from the team. Select the “Back to pending” option.

This will set that player back to a Pending status and they will now be listed under a “Players pending approval” header.

With the player set to Pending, you can now click the checkbox to the left of the photo for the user you wish to remove from the team.

A red "Remove Selected" button will appear once you've selected at least one user. Click that button to remove those players from the team.

The player will be removed from the team and moved into the "Unrostered" players for that age group and play level.
